We are working with an established fashion‑led retailer is seeking a Head of Planning to lead end‑to‑end merchandise planning, drive profitable growth, and optimise stock investment across channels.

You’ll partner closely with Buying, Retail, Ecommerce, Supply Chain and Finance to deliver strong seasonal outcomes.

Based in Australia with a competitive relocation package available.

Responsibilities

• Lead seasonal and annual sales, margin, intake and stock planning across channels.
• Own WSSI / OTB and drive disciplined stock investment and reforecasting.
• Trade in‑season performance, identifying opportunities / risks and acting quickly to protect profit.
• Shape markdown and promotional strategy to deliver sell‑through and terminal stock targets.
• Translate budgets into category plans (options, depth, flow) aligned to the commercial strategy.
• Partner with Buying / Design to build balanced ranges (width / depth, key lines, flow and pricing).
• Oversee stock optimisation and allocation outcomes (right stock, right place, right time).
• Deliver clear reporting, insights and post‑season reviews to improve future performance.
• Lead planning processes and continuous improvement across tools, ways of working and governance.
• Develop and inspire a high‑performing planning team; coach, performance‑manage and succession‑plan.
