Your Role

As a HD Fitter, you’ll be a key part of their Maintenance and Rebuilds team. Your role is essential in maintaining, repairing, and overhauling heavy earthmoving equipment to maximize reliability and productivity on-site.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs on a wide range of heavy mining equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, etc.)
  • Perform diagnostics and fault finding on engines, transmissions, hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Execute component change-outs and participate in rebuild projects in workshop and field environments
  • Maintain high standards of safety and compliance with our HSE systems
  • Record and report maintenance findings using our digital maintenance platforms
  • Collaborate with other technicians, supervisors, and planners to minimize downtime
  • Maintain and promote environmental sustainability in all work practices

Key Requirements :

  • Australian-recognized Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting / Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
  • Experience with heavy mobile equipment (excavators, haul trucks, dozers, graders, etc.)
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostics skills
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screening
  • High commitment to safety and compliance
