The Impact

Oversee and deliver data governance initiatives , aligning them with our strategy.

Help refine the governance framework and enforce data quality metric

Promote data literacy and accountability and coordinate the data governance council activities.

Manage our governance platform for data cataloguing, lineage, and quality , leveraging tools like Azure Purview.

Assess and account for data risks within the program.

The Essentials

Demonstrated experience implementing data governance programs.

Proficiency with enterprise governance tools, ideally Azure Purview (and Databricks Unity Catalog).

Strong understanding of governance frameworks, metadata management, and data lifecycle principles.

Knowledge of data privacy and compliance obligations (e.g., Privacy Act, GDPR, Data Availability and Transparency Act).

Killer communication and influencing skills, especially translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities.
