Senior Engineer

Our client is a growing financial institution currently seeking a Senior Engineer to help grow their emerging engineering practice.

Your new role will see you joining a newly established Engineering Team and helping it bring technical ownership of the businesses platforms in house. Joining at an early stage you will also help drive the culture of the team as well. Working across Python, Typescript and AWS you will work closely with internal and external sources to bring the businesses core platforms in house. You will enjoy a collaborative environment and be given a real opportunity to help shape the future of this growing practice.

Skills and Experience :

• Expertise with Python / Typescript / AWS
• Prior experience developing API services and experience with event driven architectures
• Ability to work alongside automation testers to support regression testing
• Comfortable sharing ideas in an open forum
• Experience with cloud native core banking platforms

Our client is offering a full time permanent position with offices based in the Melbourne CBD. They are working from the office 5 days per fortnight and offer a range of employee benefits.
