The Role: Cook

• Part time role, one day a week on Mondays only
• 6 hours starting from 7am
• Cook delicious, healthy and nutritionally balanced meals using our Nido Menus
• Purchase food and supplies for the kitchen
• Ensure dietary and allergy requirements and restrictions for every child are supported by having thorough knowledge of risk minimisation and communication plans
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate II or III in Commercial Cookery - desirable
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate - required
• Experience working in a childcare or aged care setting
• Valid WWCC
• Strong understanding of allergens and dietary requirements
