Bloomcare is looking for a passionate Saturday Chef/Cook to join our friendly care home team in Southport.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing delicious, well-balanced meals that support the health and happiness of our residents — all within a supportive and well‑organised kitchen environment.

About The Role

• Saturday position only
• Working hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Preparing and serving high‑quality, nutritious meals
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards
• Working both independently and as part of a close‑knit team

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine passion for cooking fresh, nutritious food
• City & Guilds 706 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards it
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
