The Royal Hospital for Women is a multi-faceted tertiary referral and teaching hospital offering women a wide range of comprehensive women's health services.
Where You'll Be Working
Working as a Registered Midwife at the Royal Hospital for Women, you will have the opportunity to work across all maternity services including Antenatal Outpatients, Antenatal Ward, Birth Unit, Postnatal Ward and Midwifery in the home.

Selection Criteria
Current registration as a Registered Midwife with the National Nurses and Midwives Registration BoardDemonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with othersDemonstrated ability to proactively engage with patients / clients to enhance service delivery and to guide others in providing service excellenceDemonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situationsStrong computer skills including Internet and email, and familiarity with health information systemsDetailed knowledge and understanding of risk management, safety and quality principles and the role of the Registered Midwife in applying these principlesDemonstrated commitment to the NSW Health Breastfeeding Policy and the BFHI Principles’A minimum of 1 year postgraduate experience working within either a women’s health surgical or midwifery or neonatal / paediatric setting – experience to align with either RN or RM AHPRA registration.Need More Information?
