The Role

In preparation for the opening of Le Royale, we are looking for a Venue Manager to lead the venue from pre-opening through to becoming one of Brisbane’s leading late-night destinations. Le Royale will be the newest addition to Anyday’s growing presence in the CBD and as Venue Manager, you will play a key role in bringing the venue’s concept to life through exceptional service, team leadership, and day-to-day operations. You will oversee operations across the floor, bar and back office, set the tone for service and culture, and deliver both memorable guest experiences and strong commercial performance. From building systems and training to managing financial outcomes, you will establish the foundations for a venue designed to become a cornerstone of Brisbane’s late-night scene.

Qualifications

• Achievement of venue revenue, COGS, and labor cost targets.
• Staff retention, engagement, and development outcomes.
• Proven experience managing a hospitality venue, preferably a high-volume cocktail bar or restaurant.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
• Deep understanding of financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimisation.
• Knowledge of bar operations, event management including inventory management and compliance.
• Experience in venue openings advantageous.
• Strong administration across invoicing, POS accuracy, cash-ups and end-of-night reporting.
• Confident in leading service, coaching performance, and managing guest recovery.
• Clear communication, strong organization and effective roster planning.
• Understanding of liquor licensing, WHS and RSA compliance.
• RSA certification required; RMLV and Approved Manager card desirable.
