There are Development Manager roles. And then there are the ones you look back on ten years from now and say — that's where I became really good at what I do.
This is one of those roles.
Our client is one of Perth's most respected developers — known for a portfolio that consistently turns heads. We're talking award-worthy residential and mixed-use projects that people talk about.
They're growing, they're ambitious, and they need a Development Manager who can match that energy.
The Role
You'll take end-to-end ownership of development projects — from site acquisition and feasibility through to planning approvals, consultant management, and delivery. This is a genuinely hands-on role where no two days look the same and your contribution will be visible, valued, and felt.
You'll work directly with senior leadership — which means access, exposure, and real influence over how projects are shaped. For the right person, this translates into accelerated career growth that simply isn't available in larger organisations.
Day to day, you'll be across: - Feasibility modelling and financial analysis
- Managing planning and approvals processes
- Leading and coordinating consultant teams
- Progressing projects from concept through to delivery
- Contributing to land acquisition and deal structuring
The Environment
Let's be transparent, the organisation operates at pace, holds itself — and its people — to high standards, and the expectation is that you bring your best consistently and the culture is one of commitment and performance.
What you get in return is rare: a developer who genuinely invests in their people, a steep and rewarding learning curve, and the kind of close-knit, high-calibre team where your development as a professional genuinely happens.
If you thrive in environments where the bar is high, leadership is direct, and the work is genuinely excellent — this will suit you.
You'll Bring - 4+ years in property development, ideally with residential, mixed-use or medium-density project experience
- Demonstrated end-to-end project management capability
- Strong feasibility and financial modelling skills
- Excellent consultant and stakeholder management
- A proactive, ownership mindset — someone who moves things forward
Why Consider This? - Salary: Very competitive — structured to attract and retain top talent
- Projects: Among the most compelling in Perth's current pipeline
- Growth: A genuine pathway to senior leadership
- Profile: Joining a developer whose work is known and respected in the market
- Impact: A role where your input is actually on the end product
