As a founding engineering hire, you won’t just write code- you’ll architect the platform, influence technical strategy, and work side by side with ex-FAANG engineers building distributed, high-performance systems. You’ll take ownership of large-scale backend systems, design the core distributed cloud platform, and tackle deep challenges in performance, scalability, resilience, and orchestration. You’ll mentor early engineers, set engineering standards, and collaborate closely with the founders on architecture and product direction.

What You Bring

• Extensive backend engineering experience with complex cloud or distributed systems

• Strong skills in Python, Go, or Java

• Deep cloud expertise (AWS ideal; Azure/GCP also valued)

• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native architecture

• Proven ability building high-throughput, low-latency, or performance-critical systems

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a builder’s mindset

• Bonus: background in cloud infrastructure or cybersecurity
