Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Lead

About the Role :

Our client is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps Lead to manage and mentor cloud teams across Australia and China. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will drive secure, scalable, and efficient cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and mentor a distributed team of Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps engineers in Australia and China.
• Define and execute the cloud infrastructure and DevOps roadmap, including IaC, CI / CD, Kubernetes / EKS, and observability.
• Ensure cloud operations comply with security, governance, and regulatory standards (SOC2, ISO27001 / 27002, Zero Trust).
• Oversee global infrastructure performance, resilience, monitoring, and incident response.
• Collaborate with development, IT, and security teams to implement scalable, secure, and standardized cloud solutions.

Skills & Experience :

• Experience in Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps
• Proven leadership managing multi‑region engineering teams.
• Expertise in AWS, Alibaba Cloud, Kubernetes, and IaC (Terraform / CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI / CD pipelines, observability tools, and DevSecOps practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Mandarin‑speaking skills are highly desirable to support collaboration with the offshore team in China.
