Chef De Partie I Patterson Lakes

We are looking for an talented and passionate Full Time Chef De Partie to join the PLG team at The Cove in Patterson Lakes . You’ll have the opportunity to manage a designated kitchen section, supervise junior staff, and assist the team with menu development.

The Cove Hotel is a premier dining and entertainment venue offering one of the most spectacular water views right on the marina in Patterson Lakes.

The bistro offers contemporary casual dining in a relaxed setting; catering to both the traditional indoor style seating, by the fireplace and an enclosed deck area capturing the view of the marina.

What will my duties include?

• Maintaining control and leadership in the kitchen during service times in allocated sections.
• Assist with the induction of new employees when required.
• Maintain professional relationships with external supplies.
• Prepare and cook menu as per cooking guidelines and set standards.
• Work in conjunction with the head chef to develop and implement a menu.
• Ensure all staff follow safety procedures.

The role you are applying for may be quite fast-paced and require you to complete tasks including but not limited to lifting boxes, kegs or stock, standing for long periods of time, and utilising stairs.
