This is an open-ended recruitment pool. The panel will monitor applications and assess on a regular basis. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31 / 10 / 2026.
Position Profile
As part of a multidisciplinary team this role provides Occupational Therapy services and Care Coordination to consumers of the Community Mental Health Service. The Occupational Therapist facilitates and promotes consumer safety and quality of care and practices as an Occupational Therapist in accordance with professional registration requirements, standards, codes and EMHS policies and guidelines.
Area Profile
Midland Community Mental Health Centre (MCMHC) is situated in the heart of Midland and located 17 km from the Perth CBD. It is accessible by public transport and near the Midland Gate Shopping Centre. It is a multidisciplinary tertiary Mental Health Community Service providing specialist Mental Health Care and Care Coordination for eligible consumers aged 18 and over in the Swan / Hills catchment. Multidisciplinary teams work with consumers and their carers to achieve Recovery Goals and return to primary care in the community.
