About the role

We are seeking an allied health professional or specialist teacher to lead and grow our everyday learning and therapy team based in Canberra, with a focus on supporting staff engagement and quality service delivery to children and families.

While we would prefer a full-time staff member, we would be open to considering part-time arrangements.

About You

You lead with optimism and kindness to build a culture of quality and respect within the team.

You are confident in developing and engaging local networks to support growth and improve outcomes for children and families.

You can balance a range of priorities and competing demands to ensure that all families are receiving a high-quality service from engaged, skilled and motivated staff members.

Your other qualities include :

• Strong leadership and people management capabilities to lead a high performing team.
• Flexible and adaptable to implementing and managing change.
• Skilled in use of technology to support teaming and work practices.
• Ability to lead a team using face-to-face connection and virtual technology to engage your staff.
• Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate group processes.
• Supports a solution-focused culture that is focused on outcomes for families.
• Efficient at managing admin tasks, compliance requirements and supervisory reporting with attentiveness to detail.
• 5 years (minimum) experience in your discipline (Occupational therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Psychology etc).
