Automotive Light Vehicle Mechanic

Requires : Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent experience + PR or Austrailan citizenship

Salary guide : $35.00 - $45.00 per hour.

Location : Bayside, Vic.

This role gives you solid diagnostic exposure, including :

• Pre-alignment checks to triage structural issues
• Fault finding using advanced scan tools
• Identifying and fixing root causes beyond part swapping
• Repairs on stolen-recovered vehicles
• Reconditioning components — not just replacing them

We don’t expect you to be a diagnostic expert on day one.

What You’ll Be Doing Daily

Hands-on diagnosis and repair of accident-damaged vehicles — not just oil changes. Your tasks will include :
