Senior Manager E190 Commercial

The role of Senior Manager, Commercial E190 will support the Head of to deliver the E190 elements of the Group Fleet Plan and Network Strategies. This senior leadership role works closely with the Manager E190 Operational Performance in their role providing oversight of the E190 operation to meet day to day performance objectives.

You will draw on your excellence in stakeholder management to deliver optimal contract performance in a fast paced and growing operation and provide expert advice to senior management ensuring Qantas interests are fully maintained whilst retaining a strong working relationship with Alliance Airlines.

You will identify systemic opportunities for continuous improvement across a balanced scorecard of metrics and contract terms whilst also maintaining a viable operating model. Additionally, you will hold budget responsibility and oversight accountability of E190 related costs and lead a program of continuous improvement and associated projects with Alliance.

You’ll have –

Tertiary qualification with preference for degrees in commercial / business management, law or finance

Extensive experience in managing multimillion dollar contracts of strategic importance

Experience working in a complex and diverse operational portfolio that includes a broad stakeholder base

Ability to influence through a collaborative leadership style and negotiate business outcomes

Ability to apply commercial and contract management principles to manage supplier performance that meets operational and service metrics.

Ability to influence through a collaborate leadership style with senior stakeholders, peers and frontline staff

Proven planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to show initiative and sound judgement when required to make decisions and gain cooperation.
