Light Vehicle & Equipment Technician / Mechanic

About the Role

We are expanding with new projects and we are seeking an experienced Light Vehicle & Equipment Technician / Mechanic who is motivated and able to work autonomously and maintain our diverse range of vehicles and equipment (mowers, edgers etc). You will have a ‘can do’ attitude with a strong commitment to contribute as a part of a team. Mechanic Trade Certification is not essential.

This role is offered on a full-time basis and is available for an immediate start. You will be based in our Carabooda depot.

Experience and Skills

• Servicing and maintaining small and large diesel engines
• Hydraulic systems maintenance
• Mowers and small petrol machine maintenance
• Welding (advantage)
• Parts ordering and stock control
• Preventative maintenance scheduling
• Mechanical trouble shooting
• Field breakdowns
• Forklift Licence (essential)
• Sound computer literacy
