Contract start 01 October 2023 to 12 months, with 24 months extensions. Services Australia is seeking suitable candidates to perform the role of Program, Project and Scrum Masters from junior levels to expert and manager levels to help the agency monitor project schedules and budgets, prepare progress reports, and liaise with key stakeholders. Program Officers provide high-level procedural, administrative and operational support to a work area aiding the delivery of the agency's programs. They contribute to strategic planning and policy development and to changes in workplace practices and business improvement strategies. Program Officers also liaise with internal and external stakeholders and provide advice to ensure the consistent delivery of program services. Project Officers support the delivery of the agency's projects. They play a role in managing straightforward projects, developing, and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide specialist advice to ensure the consistent delivery of project services. Scrum Masters enable teams to self-organise, self-manage, and deliver, using agile values, principles, and practices. They guide teams towards structuring and managing their own work to meet their stated objectives. Scrum Masters help to balance the work of the team in the context of competing priorities, including contributing to planning, changes in workplace practices and business improvement strategies. They support Product Owners to ensure there is an appropriate backlog of prioritised work items based on the overall strategy and overarching business objectives.
The level of Security Clearance required for a Role will be confirmed at the time of Contract.

Main Duties
promote and implement programs administered by the agency
maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
to deliver program services and build service delivery capability
attend interagency meetings and forums to obtain and share information
assist with strategic planning for programs with a particular emphasis on addressing the service delivery needs of community groups
liaise with stakeholders to resolve complex program and policy issues and improve access to services, payments and programs offered by the agency
provide expert advice to staff and stakeholders regarding policy, procedures, and programs
analyse and report on the achievement of business outcomes, key performance indicators and quality assurance to assist the local leadership team in managing overall performance
contribute to relevant business and people planning and develop local strategies to improve against key performance indicators
contribute to policy review including the development of new policies and guidelines
perform independent research and analysis including preparation of draft reports on relevant program activities and / or project milestones
prepare draft reports, briefing papers and Ministerial correspondence for review by senior staff
