Overview
Associate Product Manager at Tyro Payments. The role focuses on driving the delivery, backlog, and prioritisation of the product roadmap, acting as the voice of the customer to engineering teams, and ensuring alignment with the product vision. This role collaborates with Tyro teams and key third-party providers to deliver an integrated customer experience. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of delivering initiatives, passion for exceptional customer experiences, and experience in software product development.
What You'll Do
- Act as the primary point of contact for development teams, providing customer context, guidance, and direction as needed.
- Work with stakeholders and customers to gather requirements and define product features and functionality.
- Develop and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it is up-to-date and prioritised based on impact.
- Be the voice of the customer internally and ensure their needs are met through the development process.
- Work with development teams to ensure product features are delivered on time and within budget.
- Conduct user research and testing to validate product features and functionality.
- Work with Delivery Leads to facilitate the delivery process and ensure the team is working efficiently and effectively.
- Prioritise product features and create user stories for development.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in business, technology, computer science, or a related field.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver projects on time and within budget.Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions. Understand how to use data to measure product adoption and usage.Able to perform competitor analysis and form a clear view of strengths and weaknesses of the product.Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.Performance Indicators
