Skills and Experience

• Qualified tradesman with Certificate III in Marine Craft Construction
• Skilled trade assistant with gel coat and detail experience
• 3 years experience preferred but not required
• Some tools provided
• Hand skills a must
• Preferably physically fit due to the nature of the environment

About the Role

Pro-tech Marine is seeking the services of a qualified Boat Builder / Trade Assistant and or Detailer; 40+ hours per week. Long term role with years of work ahead.

The key tasks and responsibilities include all aspects of the Fit out 1 Boat Building process including but not limited to : deck prep, all stainless steel fitment, plumbing, sub assembly of small parts, windscreens, fairing, sanding, application of gel coat, buffing, quality control, mentoring young apprentices, glass fitment and so on.
