At Cooinda Lodge , we are seeking a dedicated Care Coordinator to support our Nurse Manager and lead the delivery of exceptional, person‑centred care. This is a key leadership role where you will guide clinical staff, oversee care planning and documentation, and ensure our residents receive the highest standard of care in a safe, respectful, and empowering environment.

As Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in shaping the clinical culture of our facility by fostering collaboration, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with aged care quality standards and governance. You’ll be responsible for coordinating clinical operations, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and stepping into a leadership role in the absence of the Nurse Manager. Your ability to lead with empathy, think critically, and manage competing priorities will be essential to your success.

Our preferred candidates will have :

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
• Evidence of recent experience.
• Can demonstrate a high level of experience in regard to care planning.
• A thorough understanding and knowledge of Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Be able to demonstrate a high level of communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Displays a suitable level of computer skills necessary to fulfil the activities of the role of a Care Coordinator.
