What you'll be doing
To provide high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centred specialist Medical Oncology services within the Coffs Clinical Network, contributing to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with cancer. Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing specialist Cancer Care services to emergency patients, inpatients and outpatients at the relevant Hospitals.

The role supports the strategic goals of MNCLHD and the NSW Cancer Plan by improving cancer outcomes, reducing inequities, and fostering collaborative, person-centred care with a Commitment to NSW Health CORE values.
The position is primarily based at the Mid North Coast Cancer Institute (Coffs Harbour), whilst providing inpatient services to Coffs Harbour Base Hospital and outreach clinics to Macksville District Hospital. The Medical Oncologist position is networked with a commitment to consultative services across the district.
This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer.
