Project Manager-Spatial Data Management

In this role, you'll:

Join the Intelligent Transport Systems team and contribute to the management and delivery of the Transport Connected Bus (TCB) program.

This exciting program means the entire NSW fleet of Transport’s contracted buses will be tracked and passengers will have the convenience of accessing real-time data at a tap of an app to plan their journey.

Manage, support and mentor a high performing team (eight direct reports- Spatial Analysts and Data Entry Officers) that work with spatial data to build the bus routes and timetables ensuring the program is delivered on time, within budget and produces the intended business outcomes.

Work collaboratively with delivery teams and bus operator stakeholders to deliver all aspects of the program including analysing stakeholder needs and impacts and developing and executing a pragmatic, purpose fit change interventions to maximise user uptake and embed new technology solutions within the business.

Fixed Term Full Time Opportunity to 30 June 2024| Flexible Hybrid work-Team attendance at our Redfern office every Tuesday is required.

About you

• Expertise in project management and the management of change will see you make meaningful contributions to the team and bring people together to resolve issues and share in achievements.
• Experienced in the management and gathering of spatial data including routes and timetables.
• Exposure to bus technology and working with bus operators.
• Excellent communicator with proven capability to develop and manage a wide range of stakeholder relationships, negotiating agreed positions and solutions from conflicting and/or competing agendas.
• Thrive in a dynamic environment and crave exposure to diverse responsibilities and meaningful work.
