Bath Hotel located on the prestigious Parade Norwood, shopping precinct is looking for a Venue Manager and Gaming Staff.

VENUE MANAGER ROLE

Bath Hotel is seeking a Venue Manager. Someone who is keen to deliver exceptional service and uphold a customer-focused culture. You will be responsible for the venue’s daily operations while working within a team to form a highly motivated workforce.

Position - Full Time, shifts are over a seven-day roster which include nights and weekends. Salary Negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Hold a current RSA, RSG, and RP.
  • Previous management experience within the hospitality industry ideally working across food, bars, and gaming (minimum 1-2 years).
  • Be experienced in stock control, rostering, and cash balance.
  • Ability to teach and develop staff in all facets of food and beverage knowledge, customer service, and workplace efficiency.
  • Knowledge of TAB and Keno preferred but not essential.
  • H&L and Workforce knowledge preferable.

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Venue - open / close venue.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Fostering a strong and experienced team through training and management of staff.
  • Taking reservations and function organization.
  • Involved in stock intake and ordering of supplies.
  • Customer Service.
  • Attending regular meetings with management and staff.
  • Management of Rostering and wage percent control.

    • GAMING STAFF ALSO REQUIRED

    Gaming staff required, casual, part-time or full-time positions available.

    Hold a current RSA and RSG.

    Must be able to work well within a team environment & independently.

    • The Bath Hotel was designed by Thomas English and built in 1881 on the corner of the Parade and Queen Street, Norwood. The original Bath Hotel had been built in 1856, slightly further east of this building. However, a fire in 1876 saw the Bath rebuilt in its present location. Nowadays the Bath Hotel is a thriving local hotel, meeting point for both locals and visitors to the area, offering great food, wine, and live entertainment.
