Co-Founder / Director @ Fynd; Your go-to people for all your “people” needs.
We’re wrapped to be teaming up with VetRec once again – a US‑based AI health‑tech company that’s redefining the future of veterinary practice. VetRec has never actively marketed in Australia. No campaigns. No splashy launch. Yet they’ve quietly built a deeply loyal customer base across the country through word‑of‑mouth and organic growth.
Now, VetRec sees the opportunity loud and clear and they’re moving fast. This marks their very first hire on the ground in Australia, and Fynd is proud to partner in bringing it to life.
This is where you come in…🚀
Business Development Manager (AU)
This high‑velocity BDM role is built for someone who thrives on pace, momentum and getting deals moving. You’ll sit right at the front of the growth engine – driving new business, building a serious pipeline and helping launch a game‑changing AI product into vet clinics across the country.
As VetRec’s first sales hire in Australia, you’ll work closely with the Head of Business Development (US‑based but on the ground in Australia) and an established Customer Success presence already in‑market. While you won’t be “managing” the Australian market, you will be a key player in shaping how VetRec shows up, builds trust and scales across ANZ.
This is an early‑stage, high‑impact gig – with real visibility, real ownership and real influence.
What you’ll lead
Why VetRec?
If you’ve ever sat in a vet clinic watching someone type up notes purely from memory, you’ve seen the problem in real time.
VetRec uses ambient AI to listen in the background, then intelligently summarises and structures clinical notes – so vets can stay firmly focused on care. Think of it as a smart assistant quietly handling the admin while the real work happens.
Veterinary records are famously chaotic (12 pages of handwritten history from three different clinics). VetRec goes further : with powerful record summarisation and fully customisable note outputs, it cuts hours of unpaid admin and lifts clinical quality across the board.
This is a category‑defining platform. The US team already supports over 7,000 paying clinics. Australia? It’s moving fast. Early adopters are in. Momentum is building. The word is out. Now it’s time to go all in!
You’ll thrive in this role if you :
You don’t need clinic experience to succeed here – but if you’re a pet parent, animal‑lover or have a soft spot for vets, you’ll instinctively understand what makes this one so exciting.
Location & Flexibility
We’re open to candidates anywhere in Australia, with a preference for those based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. Some travel is expected (conferences, customer visits, internal catchups), but this isn’t a constant fly‑in‑fly‑out role.
What’s in it for you?
