We are currently seeking a QHSET Manager with experience in the Mining industry.

  • About The Role
  • The QHSET Manager, reporting to the Managing Director is responsible in ensuring the company complies with local, state, and federal environmental, health and safety regulations.

    This is a vital role in the business ensuring that all necessary operational data and reports for clients are prepared as directed and all reports, incidents, & hazards are documented correctly.

    The successful applicant will also report any irregularity of the Company's safe work methods or site safety procedures to management, as well as ongoing monitoring of compliance with QHSET procedures and proposing improvement.

  • What you need to have
  • Certificate IV in OHS, training & assessing or Higher.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Safety Management role within the Mining Industry
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 4801, ISO 14001
  • Previous experience providing advice, leadership, coaching and mentoring to operational staff as required in line with company values.
  • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of standard site practices and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player.
  • Valid C Class Driver's License -
  • Essential
  • National Police clearance less than 6 months old.
