The Position

We are seeking experienced Cleaners / Caterers to join our team at Curtis Island on a Casual basis starting asap . Here, you will work alongside our professional team who strive to create a fun and safe work environment.

Industrial Cleaning : Your tasks will include, but not limited to. Cleaning offices, cleaning toilet blocks, cleaning tea shacks, rubbish removal, restocking and cleaning crib huts, chemical handling.

Kitchen Hand : Your tasks will include, but not limited to. Making sandwiches / salads, cleaning the kitchen, dish / pot wash, rubbish removal, restocking food items, cleaning kitchen equipment, mopping / scrubbing floors, chemical handling, stock unloading, cleaning dining rooms, restocking bar / drink items, vacuuming / mopping, till operation, serving drinks

To be considered for the role you must :

• Have previous cleaning / catering experience
• Be able to work 20 hours minimum per week
• Be physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment function and drug and alcohol screen
• Ability to work efficiently without supervision and as a team player
• Have current drivers licence and transport to get to and from the ferry daily (5am)
• Be a Gladstone local
