Food & Beverage Manager , you will be responsible for operational planning and service of food and beverage across both the campus and hotel for the students and operational needs of the business while upholding a hands-on training environment and ensuring WH&S and Hygiene SOPs are kept at high standard.

The Food & Beverage Instructor is responsible for conducting practical training and supervision and providing feedback on student’s progress and assessments within the live food & beverage environment. The students are to gain clearly outlined food & beverage skills and an appreciation of how to collaborate within the overarching Food & Beverage team.

Day-to-day accountabilities :

Work with and maintain a “best practice” approach to Food and Beverage Department operations.

Ensure implemented policies and procedures related to the food and beverage department are followed

Ensure students, staff and other guests are provided with meals as required by the program and the needs of the business to the standards set

Ensure students benefit positively from their Food and Beverage experience.

Participate in the delivery of any internal or external Banqueting or functions request where these fit with the educational constraints / requirements of the Department and / or operational requirements of the hotel.

Work collaboratively with the Food and Beverage Manager, the Executive Chef and all other members of the team to facilitate continuous improvement of product and training.

Who you are

To be successful in this position you will have :

Demonstrated experience in Food and Beverage within a 4 or 5-star hotel or resort environment.

Demonstrated experience as a supervisor within the hospitality industry.

Ability to deal effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Passion for providing mentoring and coaching to a diverse group of students.

Ability to work on a roster
