The Opportunity

We are looking for an  Occupational Therapist  to join our team, working in WA. Applications for full time or part-time permanent will be considered.

As a mobile clinician, you will be providing care to Australian’s wherever they call home. This is a great opportunity for you to have variety in your caseload which will allow you to utilise your skills and grow as a health professional with the continue clinical support and mentoring from our senior clinicians.

In the Community you will support :

  • Home Care Package clients : supporting clients to remain independent at home, through home assessments; equipment prescriptions and home modifications.
  • Rehab in the home program : focusing on post orthopaedic surgery
  • Hospital in the Home program : supporting clients after hospitalisation, including general surgeries

For Residential Aged Care clients, you will :

  • Complete assessments, including initials, reviews, post hospitalisation and falls.
  • Develop, implement, and manage programs
  • Design and facilitate group programs
  • Complete individual sessions with residents
  • Facilitate manual handling
  • Prescribe equipment

    • About you

    As a new grad or experienced clinician, you love to make a difference in the lives of Australians. Fully AHPRA registered or Limited Registered (remote level) clinician, ideally  (but not essential)  you will have a minimum 1 years’ experience in a community or Aged Care setting or willing to learn. As a mobile Occupational Therapist, you will need to be comfortable travelling to our clients located across the Hobart region and as such provide your own vehicle  (kilometre reimbursement provided for this travel).
