The site operates 24 / 5 and is looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing / production environment to support the Maintenance team.Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your key outcomes will be to;Ensuring adherence to safe work practices, site policies and procedures, including contractor's compliance.Providing mechanical maintenance assistance to operators, line maintainers and production personnel in all manufacturing areas and departments where and when required.Providing information and recommendations to Team Leaders and Managers that will assist in improving uptime of equipment and extending equipment lifecycles.Assisting with the function of ensuring that parts are reliably sourced and ordered which will enable effective planned maintenance along with the quality and efficiency of repairs.In addition,Aid with team problem solving and decision making.Provide technical support and guidance where required to production, packaging, and engineering services personnel on preventative maintenance, planned maintenance and upgrades and troubleshooting.Assist with developing improvements within the Production Team, andDevelop, maintain, and improve Preventative Maintenance routines along with overhaul scheduling and documentation.What you will bring to the team : Comprehensive understanding and experience of pneumatics and hydraulic systemsCompetent welding skillsAbility to read and understand engineering drawings'Hands on' Practical experience in a maintenance environmentMechanical aptitude and strong problem solving skills.Occupational Health and SafetySAP Maintenance or other CMMSWhat you'll love when you join us : Access to a range of health, wealth, and lifestyle services and discounts.Employee Assistance Program (EAP) support.Opportunities for further training and career advancement within the companyReady to make a difference?
