About The Role
Our branch located in Dandenong South is seeking a Service Advisor to join the team. The successful person will be responsible for providing administrative support to the service department and providing excellent after‑sales support to all dealership customers in a polite, friendly and professional manner. This role is ideal for someone with dealership experience who thrives in a customer‑facing position where relationship‑building skills and energy make a real impact. We’re also open to trade‑qualified candidates ready to step off the tools and start a new career path in a service department.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist the Service Manager or Service Supervisor with customer calls
- Interpret specific customer problems by obtaining detailed information from the customer to provide effective assistance
- Offer prompt and courteous attention to all customer needs
- Highlight additional services the customer may require, such as simultaneous repairs or items previously reported
- Estimate costs and completion times for jobs
- Ensure all warranty repair orders are submitted within 14 days of completion
- Execute invoice processing procedures, including opening and closing of jobs
- Create purchase orders, input them into the system, and authorise payment
- Liaise with contractors to guarantee invoices are received within 24 hours
- Allocate hours worked to repair orders
- Assist with warranty registration and claims

Proven ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointProven ability to manage administration for a departmentStrong liaison skills with internal customers and suppliersExperience using Reynolds & Reynolds systemCapacity to generate service system reportsAdherence to all company policiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSeniority Level
