Trade Assistant - MRC

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Trades Assistant to join our high performing team at our Master Rebuild Centre in Carole Park, QLD.

In this role you will operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance..

Day shift – 6am - 2pm Mon-Fri

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

Play a supportive role in the Remanufacture of the highest quality, High Horsepower Diesel Engines for our Mining customers

Work as part of a highly skilled team to deliver ‘As New’ reconditioned engines using high tech equipment

Learn new skills, through on-the-job training

Work on 19ltr to 78ltr (600 – 3500Bhp) Industry Leading engines in a world class facility

Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues / incidents

Complete required documentation, such as Safety Check Sheets, Process Quality Checks, Daily Time Sheets

RESPONSIBILITIES

Additional Information

Full Time / 38 hours per week

Overtime as required – Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours

All your Safety equipment / PPE / Uniforms are provided and laundered

Domestic Relocation may be offered for the right candidate

Local Valid Drivers License (Preferred)

Experience :

Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Cert III)

Intermediate level knowledge of and experience with machinery and / or production

Forklift License preferred
