Job descriptionExcellent core problem‑solving skills Strong modern dev skills – preferably in Java, Kotlin, C++, Rust, Dart (language agnostic when assessing talent) Strong software engineering fundamentals, especially across data structures and algorithms Excellent experience working on high‑availability and large‑scale systems Excellent product design and development experience Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Math / statistics / data modelling experience is a plus Experience with machine learning engineering is desirable but not imperative Must be a driven individual with a passion for product development, technology, and learning You must be happy, even relish, being intellectually challenged. Happy to work hard on hard problems – no weekend work, but the team is all in.

My client, a well-respected, well-funded AI scaleup, is seeking core 10x Software Engineers to join their team. This company is scaling hard globally with over 2x YoY growth and is on track for unicorn status.

You will be working on problems and products that are changing the world for the better. Our client is disrupting the Power and Electricity industry and was founded by an ex‑Google Software Engineer. You will have the opportunity to work with the brightest AI / SWE talent in Australia – ex‑Meta, Google, Atlassian, and Canva engineers.
Base Pay Range
A$180,000.00 / yr - A$250,000.00 / yr
Location
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia (Remote work supported)
Responsibilities
Work on high‑impact problems and products in the Power and Electricity industry, collaborating with elite AI / SWE talent and contributing to strategic product and technical roadmap.
