We’re looking for an detail-oriented
- Accountant with 1 - 4 years experience
- to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of our business. You’ll be the engine room of our day-to-day financial operations — managing bookkeeping, payroll, and payments — while also supporting the Head of Finance with year-end reporting, audits, and tax obligations. This is a dynamic, hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and is passionate about both the detail and the bigger picture. ###
- What you’ll be doing
- You’ll contribute to our financial integrity and strategic decision-making by : - Preparing and analysing monthly management accounts and financial statements - Managing end-to-end bookkeeping and maintaining accurate records - Running payroll and overseeing payment cycles in line with compliance standards - Assisting with the preparation of annual financial reports and external audit processes - Supporting the Head of Finance with budgeting, year-end accounts, and tax lodgements - Advising on financial policies, compliance requirements, and process improvements - Helping maintain and improve accounting systems and internal controls - Collaborating with internal teams and liaising with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax agents, and banks ###
- About you
- You’re a qualified accountant (or on your way there), with experience across both transactional finance and financial reporting. You combine sharp analytical skills with strong systems knowledge, and you're someone who takes pride in accurate, timely, and meaningful reporting. You’ll bring : - A degree in Accounting or Finance (CA / CPA qualification or working towards it is a plus) - Experience in preparing management reports and general ledgers - Working knowledge of payroll systems and bookkeeping best practices - Familiarity with compliance requirements around tax, audit, and corporate governance - Solid Excel and accounting software skills (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar) A proactive approach, high attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
