We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Gardener / Landscaper to join our professional grounds maintenance team at the historic Rookwood Cemetery. Key Responsibilities :

The role involves comprehensive grounds maintenance, focusing on horticultural excellence and presentation :

Mowing large turf areas using ride-on and push mowers.

Detailed trimming and edging using whipper snippers and edgers.

General garden maintenance, including weeding, mulching, and planting.

Site clean-up using leaf blowers and other equipment.

Hedge trimming and minor pruning of shrubs and trees.

Operating and maintaining tools and equipment safely and effectively.

Mandatory Requirements :

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria :

Experience : Proven commercial experience (minimum 2 years) in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture.

Skills : Demonstrated proficiency in using standard gardening equipment (push mowers, whipper snippers, edgers, and leaf blowers).

Licence : Current and valid C-Class Driver's Licence (standard car licence).

Clearance : Must be able to pass a police background check upon offer of employment.

Work Rights : Full working rights in Australia.
