About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Licenced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic to join our dynamic team at Hix Group in Penrith, NSW. As a full-time member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems for our diverse range of commercial clients.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, including commercial and industrial systems
Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration units
Install new air conditioning and refrigeration systems according to industry standards and client specifications
Collaborate with the wider team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services
Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice and solutions
Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards

What we're looking for

Trade qualified and licenced as an Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic, with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience

Extensive knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including installation, maintenance and repair

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues

Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues

A commitment to safety and a demonstrated track record of working safely

A valid driver's licence
