Purpose
The Development Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of premium development projects across key markets. This role ensures each project meets or exceeds expectations across quality, budget, programme, and commercial outcomes, while aligning with a design-led ethos and client-focused approach. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, leading initiatives across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Teamwork & Culture
Collaborate effectively with internal development, design, and project teams throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.

Acquisitions & Project Planning
Undertake feasibility analysis and market research for acquisition opportunities.
Assist in preparing investment memorandums and project briefs.
Contribute to development strategy for upcoming sites.
Design Development, Financials & Delivery
Collaborate on the preparation of detailed project design briefs.
Procure and manage consultant teams through DA, approvals, and documentation phases.
Support planning applications and approvals with relevant authorities.
Prepare and maintain feasibility models, budgets, and financial forecasts.
Work closely with construction partners throughout delivery.
Assist in commercial negotiations and ensure projects align with premium positioning.
Coordinate with internal teams and external agents to support marketing and sales outcomes.
Assist with legal processes including contracts, sales documentation, and purchaser correspondence.
Respond to buyer and agent queries and manage purchaser variations.
Settlements & Handover
Liaise with purchasers throughout delivery, settlement, and post-completion.
Support valuation processes and coordinate final authority certifications.
Monitor quality control and defect rectification.
Ensure a seamless purchaser and tenant experience at handover.
Communication, Administration & Support
Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and financial records.
Provide regular project updates and collaborate closely with senior leadership.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiencies.
Success Profile
Qualifications & Knowledge
Tertiary qualification in Property, Construction, Design, or a related discipline.
Strong financial literacy with proficiency in feasibility modelling (e.g. Excel).
Experience with Revit and AutoCAD highly regarded.
Solid understanding of Queensland planning and development processes.
Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes.
Minimum 4+ years' experience in property development.
Exposure to high-end residential and mixed-use developments.
Proven capability managing design, delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
