Role Overview

This role is rostered across Sunday to Thursday with varying shift times. By applying, you’re confirming your availability to work across these days.

At JD Sports, the customer is at the heart of everything we do. As a Department Manager , you will lead your department team to provide exceptional customer service to every JD customer. You will work closely with the store’s Management Team and be responsible for creating great in‑store experiences, maintaining merchandising & visual standards, and delivering the financial results for your department. You will set the standard for sales and key performance metrics, coaching and developing your team.

Responsibilities

• Model exceptional customer service, every customer, every time
• Coach team to deliver exceptional service and a ‘service over task’ environment
• Actively gain, maintain and share product & brand knowledge for your department
• Support management team to improve financial performance within your department
• Work with back‑of‑house team to ensure product availability
• Uphold company standards and deliver store visual excellence
