The Role : We are looking for a business leader to join our retail store leadership team at Hype DC Doncaster . As the Assistant Store Manager , you will deliver and execute the brand vision, establish a high-performance culture within the store, create memorable customer experiences and achieve operational excellence. You will work with your Area Manager to deliver a people-first culture, maximise sales growth, and accelerate your leadership career.

The role & responsibilities

  • Passionate about creating a WORLD CLASS team and a MAGICAL VIBE within the store
  • Run a multimillion dollar store and drive financial sales goals and metrics
  • Deliver the brand vision and strategy
  • Put the customer at the centre of everyday decisions and provide MEMORABLE experiences 100% of the time
  • Create a people-first culture and develop talent within the team
  • Provide coaching, support, and feedback to drive results
  • Recruitment, selection and onboarding of all new team members in the store
  • Deliver a seamless omni-channel experience through in-store preparation of online orders
  • Maintain best-in-class Visual Merchandising
  • Ensure stores are FUN and safe places for customers and staff

To be successful in this role

  • Be a team player focused on excellence across Sales, Operations, and Loss Prevention
  • Have experience and passion for delivering best-in-class memorable service
  • Be a coach who can motivate, inspire, and develop a large team of brand ambassadors
  • Retail Store Manager experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate a motivated, proactive “Make it Happen” attitude
  • Think strategically to identify opportunities and have a track record in driving sales and KPIs
  • Experience in rostering and wage control
