We are looking for an experienced Workshop Manager / Senior Mechanic to lead our busy workshop and supervise a small team. This is a hands‑on role combining mechanical expertise, staff leadership, and strong customer interaction.
About the role
You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of the workshop, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, customers are looked after, and the team is supported to deliver high‑quality work. This role suits someone who enjoys being on the tools while also managing people and workflow.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a small team of mechanics
- Manage workflow, job allocation, and scheduling
- Carry out mechanical repairs and diagnostics
- Deal directly with customers, providing clear advice and updates
- Maintain workshop standards, safety, and efficiency
- Help maintain and grow the customer base through excellent service
