Walagullaby Welding Works have a reputation for delivering high quality work in a timely manner. We provide light to heavy fabrication and repair work to Clermont and the surrounding district.

We are currently on the lookout for a motivated Tradesman / Metal Fabricator to join our Clermont team in a full time role, working 38 hours per week with overtime when required.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Cut, shape, and fabricate materials according to job requirements
  • Maintain and repair various equipment, including machinery from the heavy transport, earthmoving, and farming sectors
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety protocols

    • Required Qualifications and Experience :

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Tradesman / Metal Fabricator
  • Certificate III in Engineering - Metal Fabricator Trade
  • Expertise in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and blueprints
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Thorough knowledge of safety practices and risk management

    • Additional Skills and Attributes :

  • Physically fit and capable of handling all types of metals and machinery
  • Comfortable using hand tools, welders, oxy-acetylene equipment, plasma cutters, and machine tools
  • Forklift experience is a plus
