Job Summary

Reporting to the Site Leader, we are seeking a Reliability Supervisor based at our Charmhaven site. Working hours will be on a Monday‑Friday roster, with shifts between 7 am‑7 pm. This is a hands‑on leadership role that combines technical expertise with team management to ensure plant reliability, minimise downtime and drive continuous improvement.

Purpose of the Role

  • Oversee repairs and maintenance for plant equipment and site services
  • Lead and develop a team of maintenance fitters and electricians
  • Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance and reliability improvements
  • Form a strong partnership with production to problem‑solve and achieve maximum plant utilisation to effectively carry out planned proactive reliability activities
  • Respond to breakdowns and ensure timely resolution
  • Drive safety compliance and foster a strong safety culture
  • Manage contractors and ensure compliance with permits and standards
  • Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence

About You

  • Min 5+ years in a maintenance supervisory role in a FMCG environment (highly regarded)
  • Licence Electrical trade qualified or degree in Electrical Engineering required
  • Working knowledge and experience of PLC Programming is essential
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement, cultural change and process improvement
  • Highly organised, able to think strategically as well as problem‑solve
  • Strong ability to build effective internal and external working relationships at all levels
  • Strong adherence to safety (food safety and people safety)
