The Energy Data & Analytics branch, part of the Strategy & Implementation Division, is actively recruiting an Energy Analyst for its Data Governance team.
The role involves identifying, sourcing, and managing data crucial for programs and the Net Zero portfolio. The Energy Analyst will ensure data accuracy, relevance, and maintain a singular source of truth. Responsibilities also include generating insights through reports and dashboards on market trends, internal surveys, and Net Zero Portfolio data to facilitate informed decision-making and policy development.
About You
The Energy Analyst role requires advanced data analysis skills to interpret and enhance program data, contributing to improved portfolio performance. The candidate must excel in data quality assurance, extracting and manipulating data from diverse sources for accurate reports informing policy development.
Effective data management is crucial, involving coordination with operational staff to ensure program data integrity. The candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills in providing timely and accurate reports, adhering to high professional standards. Understanding of NSW Government energy policy and renewable energy sectors is a bonus.
