About the role;

As an integral part of the partswarehouse team, this position plays a key role in ensuring thesuccess of the sale and distribution of Caterpillar parts andassociated products.

The role is a combination ofcustomer service, coordination and sales. You will possess astrong customer focus and extensive mechanical knowledge as youwill be the first point of contact for our key industry partners.In this role you will be required to answer customer enquiries andprovide support to a team to ensure our parts warehouse is runningefficiently and effectively at all times.

Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude :

• Report on weekly parts performance
• Prepare quotes and sales contracts
• Provide technical and administrative research assistance
• Coordinate and participate in special event planning and execution, eg. Trade Shows
• Assist the external sales team in the field
• Pick, pack and dispatch of stock
• Goods Inwards receiving
• General operation of parts warehouse
• Ensuring OHS standards adhered to, including contamination control

About you;

• Previous warehouse experience in similar industry
• Excellent communication skills (written & oral)
• Sound understanding of logistics and warehouse management including purchase ordering and quoting
