Job Description

Oversee the organisation's financial operations and reporting processes.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support organisational goals.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to optimise resource allocation.
Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency.
Collaborate with senior management to align financial planning with strategic objectives.
Prepare detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor and assess financial risks, implementing mitigation strategies where necessary.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Director should have :

A strong background in accounting and finance, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.

Relevant qualifications such as a CPA or CA accreditation.

Proven experience in financial management and strategic planning.

Excellent knowledge of compliance requirements and financial legislation.

Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.

Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
