A day in the life…

• Lead by example, mentoring & inspiring your team on a daily basis
• Support your Store Manager in coaching the team to achieve & develop their knowledge and skills
• Lead from the front, providing an exceptional customer experience
• Ensure the safety of the store, staff and customers by maintaining a safe work environment at all times
• Support your Store Manager in stock management, ensuring stock is maintained and accurate
• Assist in managing visual merchandising (VM) of stock displays, ensuring VM standards are kept to
• Be proactive in making sure you keep your knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services we provide
• Assist Store Manager to recruit, onboard and induct high calibre new Team Members
• Contribute to a fun, supportive culture instore where the team loves coming to work every day
• Pro-actively support local marketing opportunities and sponsorships

What we need…

Experience in a 2IC role or a 3IC role and ready to step up

Demonstrated success in building sales and motivating a team to become high achievers

Demonstrated ability to achieve & exceed sales targets

Established business acumen skills

Ability to be flexible in order to meet changing work conditions

Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong verbal & written communication skills

A commitment to represent the interests of Petstock in areas related to the business, branding and animal care

Strong attention to detail skills

Ability to drive safe Work, Health & Safety practices
