We are looking for a driven, collaborative and hands on
- Area Supervisor Reece - QLD
- with experience in commercial cleaning. This is a full time and ongoing role working Monday to Friday, reporting to the State Manager, and leading a team of cleaners.
The Area Supervisor is a key role as part of the operational management team and will be responsible for delivering a high level of customer service delivery across all Reece sites in Queensland.
As Area Supervisor, some of your key responsibilities will include :
Completing cleaning quality inspections and site inspection reports, ensuring reports are completed and filed appropriately.Delivering site inductions for new employees and cleaning work method training as required.Completion of rostering / scheduling of shifts and approving time and attendance.Ensure Cirka equipment and machinery are well maintained and regularly checked, making certain any repairs or replacements are prioritised. Including the completion and documentation of pre-start machinery and equipment checks.Ensure safe work practices are followed within the business and that equipment is maintained in a safe operating condition.Ensure site test and tag registers are up to date and cleaner's rooms are regularly checked and maintained.Make sure all accidents and incidents within the area of responsibility are reported, investigated, and actions (including training) are completed and closed out within agreed timescales.On occasion, you may be required to carry out cleaning duties and tasks as required to ensure contractual scope of works are met.Travel and driving around Southeast Queensland with the requirement to fly to Northern Queensland at least twice per year.To be considered for this role it is essential that you can demonstrate :
Experience of cleaning service operations contract and team management.Good customer service skills and experience of resolving issues for customers and clients.Excellent supervision and communication skills, with the ability to effectively delegate work and tasks to your team and ensure they are completed to the expected standard.A great understanding and knowledge of commercial cleaning safe working processes and practices.Ability to work using Microsoft Office suite and experience working with online document management and auditing systems.An effective team player, with ability to adapt and change in a growing business environment while supporting others to achieve individual and business targets.In addition, as this role is working around QLD, you will need to provide proof of the below documentation as part of the recruitment process :
