The Opportunity

Veolia is looking for an experienced Instructional Designer to create a variety of effective, engaging, efficient, and cost-effective learning solutions. Drawing on your skills with Articulate Storyline, you will undertake needs analysis with stakeholders to determine learning objectives and then use best practice adult learning theory and instructional design models and principles to create learning programs and tools. You will work to build content focused primarily on health and safety topics, as well as packages for specific plant and equipment and other material aimed at a blue collar, operational learning cohort.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Use authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Rise 360, Captivate etc) our learning management systems (LMS), and work with operations to create and deliver content
  • Stay current with emerging educational technologies and trends to enhance learning experiences
  • Develop and review operational training assessment tools including verification of competency with operational SMEs to ensure coverage of legislative, regulation and industry requirements.
  • Create program evaluation tools to measure impact and continuously improve learning solutions
  • Plan and coordinate training delivery (classroom, virtual, blended).
  • What you'll need to be successful

  • Minimum 3 years experience
  • Advanced experience with Articulate Storyline and Rise
  • Experience with learning management systems
  • Good stakeholder consultation and communication skills.
