What you’ll do :
Assist in planning and performing external audits of private clients’ financial statements in line with regulatory and professional standards
Conduct substantive testing and detailed audit procedures on owner-managed businesses and family enterprises to identify risks and ensure accuracy
Help evaluate internal controls and financial processes to support audit objectives
Prepare clear and concise audit documentation, reports, and findings for clients and senior team members
Support the identification and communication of audit issues and collaborate with clients to resolve financial reporting challenges
Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance audit efficiency and quality
What we’re looking for :
Audit Expertise : Minimum 3 years of experience in external audit and ideally one year as a Senior Auditor or equivalent with exposure to Private Clients or owner-managed businesses.
Relevant Qualification : Bachelor’s qualification in Commerce or Finance, and progress towards or completion of a recognised CA
Analytical Skills : Ability to analyse financial information, identify risks, and apply professional judgement to audit processes
Teamwork and Development : Coach and develop junior staff members and project plan
Communication Skills : Ability to prepare audit findings clearly and communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
Industry Awareness and Regulatory Understanding : Foundational knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks, and regulatory requirements, with a commitment to ongoing learning
