Maternity Services Manager

Overview

We\'re looking for a dedicated and experienced Maternity Services Manager to join our team. The role will provide clinical leadership and operational management of maternity services, ensuring accessible, safe, high-quality, women-centred care, aligned with Safer Care Victorian standards. The position is responsible for the implementation, maintenance and oversight of the redesigned Maternity Services model of care, including a transition to midwifery group practice (MGP), ensuring continuity of care for women and their families.

The Position Will

• Lead the transition and sustainability of the model of care, including the MGP model.
• Ensure adequate midwifery coverage and caseload allocation for continuity of care across antenatal, pregnancy assessment, birthing and postnatal care.
• Monitor quality and safety, and clinical risk within the maternity services.
• Support workforce planning, professional development and mentoring.
